Repurposing vintage apparel is my passion. I hand-cut designs and embroider them on recycled clothing to create a unique, handmade, wearable piece of art. My inspiration for my designs comes from music and from nature.

When shopping for vintage clothing I prefer to buy from local thrift stores and small businesses. When looking for textiles I choose quality, made in the USA fabrics.

I believe in working with used clothing. Buying used goods means that there is no extra manufacturing, no packaging, no advertisements, and, if purchased locally, virtually no carbon footprint at all. Reusing our old products is perhaps the most eco-conscious thing we as consumers can do. The fashion industry these days is a huge cause of global pollution, and our throw-away culture encourages short-use products. And yet, we all love fashion, myself included! For this reason, and because of my fondness for 60s and 70s era music, I have been naturally drawn to vintage clothing.
